Nora Deutsch de Torquemada
Devoted wife, mother & inspiration
Co-Founders
The Nora Deutsch Foundation was established on May 6, 2017, in Keller, Texas, as a tribute to Nora Deutsch de Torquemada — a devoted wife and mother who spent her entire life giving to others with an open heart and an unwavering faith.
Throughout her life, Nora knitted sweaters for infants in poverty, distributed food to the homeless, and dedicated herself to charitable causes both large and small. She was an active member of a South American charitable organization and made daily prayer for those in need a part of her morning and evening routine.
In 2009, Nora suffered a stroke that reduced her physical abilities. Unable to continue her charitable work in the same way, her spirit of generosity never faded — it passed to her children. Motivated by everything she had shown them throughout their lives, her three children — Patricia, Roxana, and Edmundo — established this foundation to carry her mission forward.
Today, the Nora Deutsch Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing food, healthcare access, and educational support to people in Venezuela and the United States. Every cause we support is a continuation of what Nora started — direct, compassionate help for those who need it most.
Your donation directly supports food, medicine, and education for vulnerable people.
We treat every person we serve with the dignity and respect they deserve. Aid is given without judgment, without politics, and without conditions.
We work through trusted local partners to ensure donations reach the people who need them — not middlemen, not bureaucracies. Your gift means a real meal for a real family.
As a registered 501(c)(3), we are accountable to our donors and to the public. Our EIN (82-1554714) is publicly verifiable through the IRS database.
The Nora Deutsch Foundation is a fully registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization. All donations made to our foundation are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by law. You will receive a receipt for your records upon donating.
We provide receipts for all donations. Make a difference and reduce your tax bill.
Help us continue what she started — one meal, one medicine, one child in school at a time.
